Cookies, macarons, black forest pastries, donuts, and puddings are constructed using wood slivers, paperclay, gold foil, marquetry, and melted chocolate techniques.

Cupcake II was the first paperclay carousel. The journey itself was something of a long & playful experiment. Every piece was sculpted to reality, to evoke memories.


Where it's the choco-chip cookies or the syrup on donuts, we dived into materiality to bring each piece as close to reality as possible. Each cream layer was created to have its own natural flavour - dyed at the studio.

The journey was slow — paper soaked in bulk, ground to pulp, and bound with patient hands.


Cracks filled and smoothed,

Sanded to softness.

Colour came in layers,

Some in the pulp & some brushed later.


I grew in care, in making and learning, dressed up in colours that I wear till date.

Sometimes I turn, sometimes I sit -

Holding memories, wonder

And all the secrets you want to keep.

Some cracks are filled, others left visible; some chocolate cones rise from a wooden wrapper base, while textured ice-cream expressed in soft tones in paperclay with mechanical wooden cones roll at the bottom, enabling movement in the whole piece.
