Carousels are a continuing thread in SHED’s practice — repositories of memory, movement, and play. This iteration introduces glass miniatures, expanding the medium beyond wood.
The dialogue between solidity and fragility, opacity and transparency, makes the carousel a stage where material traditions meet and evolve, pointing to this almost autobiographical piece describing somebody's character with resplendent detail!
