A small-scale echo of our Magnetic Fields 2024’s life-size installation — one with rakes and sand pits to play. A translation compressed to the desk, to bring the experience for everyday.

The Octagon Zen Boxes were created as gifting sets, to bring about the enigma of Magfield’s 2024 installation at an accessible scale, to realize that same emotion of play in a desk accessory. We sculpted the tools in metal, glass & stone - allowing users to engage with materials they do not experience in everyday life. But just by playing with them in an open-ended manner, without any rules - it allows one to break out from the routine. It brings the emotion of free play to your desk.
